There is nothing wrong with finding someone successful that you can learn from. The key word being “successful”. It may not be the best idea to take a ton of real estate investing advice from someone that is not having a profitable career themselves.
When people decide they are interested in making money in real estate, they think about the mountain of money they could make, but for most it is just a dream. They are hesitant, fearful to get started and take some risks to make money.
You must remember that making money in real estate takes time. It is after all, an investment. If you think about it that way all of the hard work in the beginning will be worth it because you will know that eventually the profits will be headed your way.
